Earth-Friendly Deathcare Options

The Annual Meeting of Funeral Consumers Alliance of Eastern Massachusetts will highlight presentations and discussion with Katrina Spade, founder of Recompose, Representative Natalie Higgins, coauthor of “An Act Expanding After-Death Care Options” and Eva Moseley, Board member of Green Burial Massachusetts and FCAEM. Discussion will cover climate-friendly body disposition methods proposed in the state legislature: NOR – natural organic reduction and AH – alkaline hydrolysis, along with green burial options. The meeting will start with a brief story of 2023 FCAEM actions with election of board members.
